hoy week!

hoy! tama ang spelling ng title. hindi ako nagkamali ng pagtype. ngayong darating na week ang isa sa pinakamimportanteng occasion sa mga Kristiyano. pinagdiriwang ang passion, death and resurrection ng Dakilang Tagapagligtas ng sangkatauhan-si Jesus. Holy week napo ulit mga frends.. ibig sabihin wala na namang pasok sa opisina o eskwela. pde na namang tumakas sa lupit ng mundong pilit nating iniiwasan. pagkakataon naman nating magsayang ng oras sa pagpapakasaya sa kung saan saan.siyempre ito ay panahon ng pagaalala at pagsali sa panata ng pananalangin at pagninilaynilay sa ating mga gawa. madalas nga mas madaming oras pa ang naiispend natin sa gimikduring ng week na ito kesa sa pagpapalakas ng ating pananmpalataya. guilty as charged din ako dito. nung bata pako, natatandaan ko ang pagsali sa lahat ng activities ng simbahan, station of the cross, prusisyon at mga misa. atend ng atend ngunit hindi naiinindihan kung bakit at para san ang pagatend. nung medyo nagkaisip nako,natatandaan ko  na pumupunta na lamang ako kasama ang karamihan ng mga tambay ng kanto at mga nagkukunwaring nagsisisi sa gabi ng Sabado  de Gloria kung saan may malaking kandila at may pagbabasbas ng mga kandila, langis at tubig. nagiging mabuti ang mga tao sa paligid. pawang mga santo at santa sa kabaitan. pero before at after ng week na ito, kung ano anong kamunduhan ang inaatupag, kabikabila ang bangayan, chismisan at sugalan. masasabi bang Holy week ito  o 'hoy' week? nawa'y isapuso at isip nating ang hoy week na ito  at maging makatotohanan nawa ang ating pagninilay nilay at pagdarasal.  ngayon, while sinusulat ko ito, nahohoy ko angsarili ko at sana ang ilan din sa inyo. hoy, isipin mo mga nagawa mo. hoy, baguhin mo na ang mga negatibong bagay sayo. hoy, magsisi ka na. hoy, humingi ka ng tawad sa lahat-kahit hindi ikaw ang may sala. hoy, si Kristo ang dapat maging  sentro ng pagdiriwang ng Holy week at dapat sentro din ng buhay mo above all else. JESUS is the WAY, TRUTH & LIGHT to the Father in Heaven. let's focus in HIM. we are nothing  without Him. but with Him we could do great things! God bless you! Hoy!

success in the pot!

Sometimes life's full of miseries and many a few good men always tells you that there's always a pot of gold waiting for you and  me to discover. This pot of gold would come in many forms, career, fame, power, glory, triumph, recovery from a problem or crisis. Whatever that pot of gold is, it simply defines our success. Sometimes it is a kind of mediocre to accept things as they are. There's this longing and hope even a bit yet could spell the discontentment and the desire to seek for self-improvement or a change in status. What am I pointing to? Well, I just realized that sometimes when your at your prime, you got a lot of potential in you that you sometimes neglect to utilize it to the fullest. You waste your chance and when it's gone you ask the most common sort of regret-related questions that starts with 'what-ifs' and the 'if-onlys' statements. I'm talking here about delayed gratification. I remember a bible story, that talks about the kingdom of God as a chest of gold buried in an empty lot. The person sold everything and bought the land. It's more of delayed gratification. Success that you know will come someday, you believe and do whatever it takes and you trust in the Almighty Father that He will give it to you. in His time. In a simple analogy, you are like a child in the marshmallow test, you are ought to let the time past to get more marshmallows. It is a call for patience and setting your mind to the greater gratification of the pot of gold. I hope we all could delay in order to pursue a greater share-a little later now could mean a fullness in the future.
